Vampire Facelift

As we age, our faces shrink in specific places, due to the loss of bone; and soft tissues, such as the fat pads that support the cheeks, lips and brows. We lose the rosy glow of youth as the blood supply to our face diminishes, and our skin starts to lose its colour. Skin texture becomes less smooth, and the facial shape collapses. The fine skin under the eyes becomes thinner and more 'crepey'. The Vampire Facelift® can help with these common concerns.

Vampire Facelift FAQ's

What is a Vampire Facelift?

The Vampire Facelift uses a combination of PRP with natural, reversible HA (Hyaluronic Acid) fillers in a specific way to gently and naturally restore youthful volume and shape, without looking overdone. First your clinician uses HA fillers to create a beautiful shape, and replace the lost volume in your face. Your PRP is then injected into your face in a specific way to improve the tone, texture and luminosity of the skin.

Areas that may be treated with the non-surgical Vampire Facelift:

  • loss of volume in cheeks
  • early sagging of the face
  • crepey skin under the eyes
  • poor skin texture
  • dull, grey skin
  • mouth corners
  • lip shape
  • brows

How can the Vampire Facelift help you look younger?

The face ages in two ways:

  1. There is loss of volume from bone, muscle, fat, and skin. This can make the under eye area and cheeks look flat and hollow. The skin can look dull or gray instead of being rosy as it was when younger.
  2. The loss of support of the skin results in drooping upper eyelids, lower eyelids, cheeks, jowls and sagging neck skin (“turkey neck”).

An experienced injector will be able to use the Vampire Facelift to skillfully target these results of ageing.

Who is the Vampire Facelift for?

The Vampire Facelift was developed for people who want healthy, youthful, and rejuvenated skin, but done quickly and without surgery. The procedure uses your own body’s healing and regenerative properties.

How long do the Vampire Facelift results last?

Results can be experienced on the same day, with continual skin regeneration benefit lasting for months after the procedure, and results can last for over a year.

How long does the Vampire Facelift take?

The procedure takes 90 minutes which includes the consultation, consent and the actual treatment.

Does the Vampire Facelift hurt?

The procedure is a near painless series of injections it to areas of the face to reduce wrinkles, add youthful volume, and improve the quality of your skin. Blood is drawn from the arm in the same way as with any blood test. Using a patented technique, the growth factors in platelet-rich plasma (PRP) are extracted from that blood sample and injected into the face.

What are the possible side effects of the Vampire Facelift?

The procedure has been called a “lunchtime lift” because recovery is typically minimal. You can expect some redness and occasionally some bruising.
