Microdermaplaning
Microdermaplaning improves the skinās appearance by removing the top layers of dead skin through a fine planing procedure. This is a safe and painless way of exfoliating the skinās dead cells in addition to removing the fine āpeach-fuzzā hair we have on our faces. Microdermaplaning softens, smoothes, and improves irregularities, giving the skin a silky texture.
Microdermaplaning FAQ's
What to expect after the treatment?
Primarily, your skin will feel clean and smooth. Your skin tone and
texture can also improve significantly, especially after several
treatments.
How long will the treatment last?
How long your results will last can depend entirely on your skin
quality. If you currently have clear skin tone, then the results of
microdermabrasion will be longer lasting. We recommend monthly
treatments for optimum results.
Does the treatment hurt?
No, the microdermabrasion treatment is not painful. It may occasionally
cause a slight stinging sensation during application, but is certainly
not painful.
Is it safe?
Yes. However microdermabrasion is not appropriate for all skins, and can
be very dehydrating, so it is important to follow up treatment sessions
with a good moisturiser. Our Advanced Skin Therapist will provide you
with a recommended home care plan.
How long does the procedure take?
Treatments usually take 20 to 30 minutes. We suggest pairing your
microdermabrasion treatment with our EnvironĀ® Medi Facial to maximise
results.
How quickly does it work?
You will see and feel immediate results following your treatment.
