What to expect after the treatment?
Your age spots and pigmentation will darken and will appear darker for 7to 10 days, before gently flaking off to reveal clearer skin. There may be some swelling in the treated areas for a few days after the treatment. Occasionally the skin may have a few reddish marks which resolve in a couple of days
 
How long will the treatment last?
The total number of required treatment sessions depends on your skin's condition. During your initial consultation, your Advanced Skin Therapist will recommend a schedule for maximum results.
 
Does the treatment hurt?
Some people describe the treatment as uncomfortable ā€“ it has a sensation of the flicking rubber band, deep seated heating and the quick, snappy tug of the skin as the treatment progresses. You can choose to use a numbing cream or a ā€˜gasā€™-like pain reliever for this treatment. Ask your doctor or therapist about your options.
 
Is it safe?
It is safe and effective for most skin types and colours
 
How long does the procedure take?
Generally, after your consultation, treatment can take up to 2 hours each
 
How quickly does it work?
If you have brown pigmentation in your skin, it may become darker in the hours after the treatment and flake off around 7-10 days later.  The tightening of the skin and softening of lines and wrinkles, due to collagen remodeling, usually takes several months
