New Zealand Fashion Week is one of the highlights of the NZ social and fashion calendar, and our very own Dr Catherine Stone has been invited to give a seminar during Fashion Weekend. Catherine has chosen to talk about “Ageing Beautifully: Look Better Every Year” which has been tipped as one of the ‘must see’ events of Fashion Week. We’d love you to join us at 1pm on Saturday 25th September – tickets to Fashion Weekend are only $20 each at the door, and we suggest you arrive early as the seminars are usually very popular. New Faces At The Face Place

Next time you visit us you’ll hopefully meet one of our 5 new faces at The Face Place. We are delighted to welcome Dr Gillian Hawkley, Registered Nurses Amanda Child and Beth Cardale, and our Chinese Nurse Translator Summer Wang, who have joined our Cosmedical Care Team to provide you with more appointment availability and more choice with your BOTOX® treatments (see below for more info). You may see our new accounts person Teresa if you visit our Albany clinic.

Gillian is a high-achieving GP who represented Scotland in sailing and will be working at both clinics, Amanda also works as a stylist and will be available at Vulcan Lane, while Beth is also a trained beauty therapist and will be based at Albany. To cater to our growing Chinese market, Summer is the first dedicated Chinese nurse translator in our industry, and will be available 10am-4pm on Wednesdays. Along with our existing nurse Sue Wallis, each have completed over 50 hours of training on BOTOX® treatments, and are already providing great results for our clients.

As always we have selected some amazing ladies, and we’re extremely proud of our new team – we’re looking forward to you meeting them!

New Advice For Upper Lip Lines

Those pesky upper lip lines! We have been getting great results with doing a top up BOTOX® treatment every 6-8 weeks for these lines. We use tiny doses in this area (usually 4-6 units) so it wears out quickly… however with regular treatments every 6-8 weeks we start to see the lines soften and over time some have even disappeared! This is a process, as it takes months for the skin to soften those lines out. If you see one of our nursing team, your regular top up in this area will only be $68 for 4 units.
