Permanent Makeup FAQ's

What to expect after the treatment?
You will have normal makeup applied to ensure you know how it will look. The permanent makeup is then tattooed in the same position. Afterwards the tattoo is covered with antiseptic cream. The skin will appear red and feel swollen for up to 48 hours after your treatment. It takes about a week (usually seven to ten days) to heal, during which time you will need to keep applying healing cream. You will have a touch up session booked at 4 - 6 weeks.

How long will the treatment last?
Touch-ups may be needed to keep this looking fresh – usually every couple of years.

Does the treatment hurt?
A topical numbing cream is applied to the site first so only a scratching sensation is felt.

Is it safe?
Yes. An experienced and artistic therapist will give you best results.

How long does the procedure take?
Treatments usually take around one hour and an additional 45 minutes to an hour is needed prior to your treatment for the topical anaesthetic cream to take effect.

How quickly does it work?
Results are seen immediately, although the full end result is seen in approximately 3 weeks.
