What causes acne?

  1. Acne is a skin condition with many underlying factors, one being the over activity of a bacteria called P. acnes. This type of acne is often associated with inflamed cystic type spots. 
  2. Poor skin condition is the most common cause of adult acne; due to dehydration and accumulative damage
  3. Hormonal imbalances and a family history of acne are also strong influences

What treatments are available to treat acne?

  • Medical Grade Skin Care: a tailored home based skin plan can improve skin health, reduce inflammation and blackheads, and assist in skin healing.
