Under eye hollows

We can help with under-eye hollowing (tear troughs) by injecting dermal fillers to lift the tissue, and so blend the lower eyelid skin with that of the cheeks. It is a relatively simple procedure, and almost completely painless. When done by an experienced clinician, the results creates a fresh, rejuvenated eye area.

Loss of volume and fatty tissue results in the formation of tear trough hollows - the under eye hollowing that creates tired, dark eyes.

Under eye hollows FAQ

What is the best treatment for under eye hollows?

Dermal filler is an effective method for treating under eye hollows as they can restore the loss volume, with subtle and natural results.

Is dermal filler for under eye hollows safe?

Yes, we only use HA fillers (Hyaluronic Acid) at The Face Place. These fillers are made from a naturally occurring sugar molecule found in the human body - only in a stabilized form.  An experienced clinician will know exactly where to place the filler, ensuring maximum safety and results.

Is under eye filler permanent?

No, under eye filler is temporary and will last approximately 10 -15 months . If you don't like the results, we can immediately remove the filler using an enzyme called Hyalase, which naturally breaks down the filler, leaving your face exactly how it was prior to the treatment

What other treatments can help with under eye hollowing?

PRP: can thicken under eye skin, soften hollows and reduce skin crêpeynes

Vampire Facial Plus: uses PRP, Dermal Needling and Hydrating HA solution to stimulate superior skin rejuvenation and collagen repair

ThermiSmooth: uses heat to target collagen and tighten skin. Good for focus areas; eyes, mouth and cheeks
