Dermal Needling

As part of the natural ageing process, UV breaks down collagen and elastin fibres, thinning the skin and losing its buoyancy, leading to fine lines, wrinkles and vascular looking skin. Collagen Induction therapy (CIT) uses micro fine needles that perforate the capillary network creating a cascade of growth factors that eventually lead to collagen deposition, thickening the skin, padding out pores, fine lines and wrinkles.

We offer two methods of Dermal Needling: The Dermal roller and the E Dermastamp pen, the formal being a cylindrical barrel with many micro fine needles inserted into the barrel which is rolled over the skin; the latter is a pen like device with a chamber that sits behind the needles and allows a peptide rich solution to be delivered at the time of treatment.  Dermal rolling has the advantage of being able to be administered 3 - 7 days apart for 6 treatments for optimum results. The E Dermastamp pen is administered 4 - 6 weekly and has the advantage of a built in chamber delivering the peptide solution and a much smaller head, allowing for more comfort during treatment and the ability to work closely in smaller areas such as the top lip and around the eye. It also has a function to alter the needle length depending on skin thickness (eg, longer needles for the cheeks and reduced needle length for the forehead, nose and eye area)

Both methods offer excellent results, the Dermal Roller protocol being  based on the latest research, offering optimum results and the E dermastamp is a less time intensive, more comfortable regime and can be incorporated with PRP ( Vampire Facial Plus)
