With two new faces on our reception desks this month in Britomart and Takapuna, we thought we’d share a few quick questions by way of introduction.
Sandra Chew – Medical Receptionist, Takapuna:
What did you know about cosmedicine before joining TFP?
Before joining TFP, my knowledge was limited but I have learned a lot just in my first few weeks!
What are you looking forward to/already enjoying in your new role?
I really enjoy learning new things at TFP and the working environment and is very pleasant.
What’s your favourite thing to do in your spare time?
I love singing karaoke, especially ballad songs, and it always gives me a kind of stress relief.
When it comes to food, what’s your favourite for winter?
My favourite recipe to cook is Malay Chicken Curry – I cook them a lot. And Chicken Congee (savoury rice porridge with ginger and chicken cooked in sesame oil) is my comfort food in winter.
If you have a friend visiting Auckland, where’s your favourite spot to take them?
Waiheke, as it feels like you’re away from the hustle and bustle of the city on a short getaway.
Isaac Winter – Medical Receptionist, Britomart:
What did you know about cosmedicine before joining TFP?
I knew a small amount about cosmedicine – my mum has worked with TFP for a long time. She always brought products home for me to use and talked to me about the treatments available. TFP helped me get through my teenage years as I had bad acne on my cheeks, but the team was able to help me to now have great skin. I also received Botox in my hands to counter sweating, which was a fun experience.
What are you looking forward to/already enjoying in your new role?
Working next to Treena is a scary but fun experience so far. She has always been so charismatic, and she has such a talent for talking to people. Every single person she talks to ends up with a smile on their face. I think she and I will be a great team and I’m looking forward to learning a lot from her.
What’s your favourite thing to do in your spare time?
My favorite thing is sports. I play basketball, football, and love the gym. It always makes me feel amazing after exercising and competing with my friends is a good time too. You start to get good at basketball quite quickly if you pay for drinks after a loss.
When it comes to food, what’s your favourite for winter?
During winter, I always want to eat as much as possible at night and end up in a food coma. Mash potato and beef stew is great for this, especially when the mash looks like a mountain. Soup with plenty of veges and bacon hock is delicious as well, especially when the nights are getting cold.
If you have a friend visiting Auckland, where’s your favourite spot to take them?
You have to love the waterfront, great views and good food and drink to enjoy a nice evening.
