I have just returned from an educational trip to Taiwan. It was wonderful to be amongst like-minded, forward-thinking colleagues, learning about the latest advances in our industry and sharing experiences from clinics around the world.
This particular event was focused on a relatively new treatment we offer at The Face Place called HArmonyCA™. What makes this product unique is that it combines two powerful technologies in one treatment: hyaluronic acid, which provides structural support and volume, and calcium hydroxyapatite, a biostimulator that encourages the body's own collagen production to improve skin quality, firmness, and elasticity over time.
In appropriate cases, HArmonyCA™ was also combined with SKINVIVE® by Juvéderm®, a skin booster designed to improve hydration, smoothness, and overall skin quality. Together, these treatments represent a more holistic approach to facial rejuvenation, focusing not only on how the face looks, but also on the health and quality of the skin itself.
We have had HArmonyCA™ available in the clinic for several months now and have been impressed by the improvements we are seeing in skin firmness, texture, and overall skin quality. It was reassuring to see our clinical experience reflected in the scientific data presented at the conference, as well as in the results and experiences shared by other practitioners from across the Asia-Pacific region.
The future of aesthetic medicine is increasingly focused on skin health, regeneration, and supporting the body's natural processes rather than simply replacing lost volume. Patients are seeking treatments that deliver natural-looking results while improving skin quality and helping them age well.
At The Face Place, we are continually evaluating emerging treatments and evidence-based innovations to ensure we offer our patients the very best options available. As our understanding of the ageing process evolves, so too does our approach, with a growing focus on prevention, skin quality, collagen stimulation, and long-term skin health.
It is an exciting time in aesthetic medicine, and we look forward to bringing these advances to our patients as we continue to optimise our approach to healthy, confident ageing.
