Hyalase accelerates the breakdown of the filler, allowing your body to absorb and remove it as carbon dioxide and water.

Over time, some people may experience filler migration or excessive volume buildup, particularly when treated frequently or with larger amounts. While filler migration can happen after any treatment, it is more commonly linked to over-treatment or inappropriate product placement.

If you’re unhappy with your filler results - whether treated at The Face Place or at another clinic - we can assess and dissolve the filler as needed. We do recommend initially contacting your original provider to allow them to manage corrections. However, if that isn’t possible, we are experienced and ready to assist.

Before dissolving filler with Hyalase, a patch test on your arm is always performed to rule out any allergic reactions, as all products carry a very small risk of allergy. If a reaction occurs during this test, the treatment will not proceed, and we will discuss alternatives.

Hyalase begins working immediately upon injection, with visible results typically appearing within 24 to 48 hours. Some swelling is normal in the treated area. For optimal healing, we recommend waiting approximately two weeks before considering any further filler treatments to allow your tissues to fully recover.
