Your consultation
The first step is understanding you.
Whether you are considering cosmetic injectables, skin treatments, intimate wellness or simply want expert advice on where to start, your consultation is where your journey with The Face Place begins.
It is an opportunity to talk openly with one of our experienced medical or skin professionals about what you would like to achieve, what is suitable for you, and what will give you the most natural and considered result.
You don't need to know what treatment you need before you come in. That's what we're here for.
Your appointment
What happens during your consultation?
Your consultation is tailored to you and your concerns. Depending on what you are coming in to discuss, your clinician will:
-
Listen to what you would like to achieve
We'll listen to what your concerns are and we'll talk about what you want to achieve and which treatments would be right for you.
-
Assess your face, skin or other concern
We'll take the time to assess your individual anatomy, skin condition and areas of concern. For injectable consultations, this includes looking at your facial structure, movement, proportions and overall balance.
-
Talk through your options
We'll explain the treatments that may be appropriate for you, as well as any treatments we don't recommend. There may be more than one way to approach your concerns, and we'll explain the differences so you can make an informed decision.
-
Create a personalised plan
Where treatment is appropriate, we'll recommend a plan based on your goals, rather than simply suggesting a particular product or procedure. This may involve one treatment or a combination of treatments over time.
-
Discuss costs and timing
We'll explain the recommended treatment, how much it will cost and, where relevant, how many treatments may be needed and when they should be performed.
Time & cost
How long does a consultation take, and what does it cost?
Our consultations cover a wide variety of treatment types, with each consultation providing its own dedicated time for discussion.
- Your consultation fee is redeemable against your first treatment.
- Treatment is not included in the consultation fee and there is no obligation to proceed.
We allow enough time for you to have an in-depth conversation with your clinician and for them to assess you without feeling rushed.
Do I need to have treatment on the day?
Absolutely not.
In fact, we often recommend taking some time to consider your treatment plan before proceeding.
A consultation is about giving you the information and professional advice you need to make the right decision for you. Sometimes that means treatment; sometimes it means waiting, taking a different approach, or deciding that treatment isn't necessary.
What should I bring?
Before your appointment, you'll be asked to complete some medical and treatment information. Please complete this before arriving where possible so you can make the most of your consultation time.
And don't worry if you aren't sure what treatment you need. That's part of what your consultation is for.
Our approach
Why The Face Place?
At The Face Place, our approach is centred on clinical judgement, experience and natural-looking results.
We don't have sales targets or commission-based treatment incentives. Our clinicians are here to recommend what they believe is right for you — including telling you when a treatment isn't appropriate.
Sometimes the best advice is not to have a treatment at all.
Ready to start?
If you're not sure where to begin, a consultation is the best place to start.
