Dr Jenni's October Update: Getting Your Skin Ready for Summer

I can't believe we are now in the last 3 months of 2026. We have had a busy time in September with clinical team members attending various conferences and trainings. The New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Medicine had its annual conference in Queenstown. It is a well-regarded conference with a focus on the scientific evidence behind Aesthetic medicine. Three of our team attended this year. We have come away inspired and energised again. Knowledge is so inspiring and enables us to have confidence in the treatments we offer and the results we can achieve.

The next 3 months you should be focused on getting your skin ready for its summer glow. Prepare it for the sun exposure and protect it. With this in mind we have 2 packages we are offering in the clinic for the next few months. The first is our Summer Glow Package, an eight-week plan focused on hydration and improving skin nutrients and health, so October is the time to start. The second is our suncare promotion. Spend $155 or more on suncare and you'll go in the draw to win a Hommey summer pack. UVA/UVB protection should be a non-negotiable in your homecare. UVA rays age us and come through windows, off computer screens and off fluorescent lights. UVB rays are the ones that burn your skin when outside. You need daily protection from both.
